We started getting ready for Hurricane Isabel on the Sunday before the storm when we scouted out places to anchor the boat. On Monday we took the boat to Hartness Creek, near Quiet Waters Park and anchored with two big anchors. Here is our big 50lb. storm anchor we bought 15 years ago but never used.
